Among Plan's many projects in Timor-Leste are training and employment schemes for out-of-work youth. This is Acacio Pinto. He's 25 and from a poor part of the country where schools are bad and even if you manage to get an education, jobs are few. <br />

Acacio dropped out in the second grade of junior high to work selling firewood. But in 2008, he took part in three months' training arranged by Plan with a local radio station called Community Radio Lautem. He went on to work for the station for two years before moving to Dili to become a journalist and radio presenter in the capital.
