From March to May 2010, Red Shirt protestors occupied several sites in Bangkok in an attempt to oust the government, who they believed had come to power illegitimately. <br />

When the tanks finally rolled in, clearing away the last of the Red Shirts, more than 80 people had been killed and more than 2,000 injured.
